Fylde Councils business support delivery partners for their allocation of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund are actively seeking out businesses wishing to tap into their offers of support.

North West Aerospace Alliance is for those looking to start/grow/diversify or simply look for supply chain support in the aerospace, space, automotive, advance engineering and manufacturing sectors. There are approximately 15,000 jobs in Fylde within these sectors, making them the largest employment sectors across the borough, which is why Fylde Council is in support.

The Chamber Low Carbon Scheme in Fylde has already seen an influx of interested businesses. The Chamber team will be hosting three events come Autumn in St Annes, Kirkham and Lytham to speak to all businesses about saving money through efficiencies and Utility Bill reviews, whilst reducing their carbon footprint. Boost Lancashire business support will continue its good work of now ten years working with Fylde SME’s be they starting out, growing on or flourishing. If you are interested in a one to one chat with an advisor once this programme of support releases in Oct/Nov, Fylde Councils ED Team would be delighted to have a chat meantime and get you pencilled in for an appointment, they might even have further support options for you to consider.

AFC Fylde Community Foundation are also delivery partners providing crucial support in the Fylde Borough in the form of Fylde Focus. Fylde Focus is an employability support project for those aged 16 – 24 years old living across the Fylde Borough, who are not currently in education, employment or training (NEET). The project provides participants with support in building their career and entering the workplace, through one-to-one mentoring, access to further education and training courses, and support with CV writing and interview skills. Could your business help one of these youngsters get a leg up the employment ladder?

The Town Centre business groups have also been working with Fylde Council ED Team, as part of a business collaboration project to pull together a Pan Fylde Loyalty Card Scheme that launches on the 6th September. There has been superb support in all three town centres from retailers, cafes, restaurants and service providers, watch the local media or follow Fylde Councils Facebook account to find out how to pick up a card and potentially win £150 for spending in your local Fylde Borough Town.
