Image of people being taught digital skills in a classroom

A series of key digital sessions aimed at supporting rural Lancashire businesses has been created by Lancashire County Council in Partnership with Emma Gray Consulting. The programme will see SMEs being taught how to use digital tools for efficiency, reach and growth. Topics are “pick and mix”, so participants can choose what is most relevant to them and their organisation.

Digital Marketing Skills in particular are key for any business to thrive in today’s modern world. The shop window is no longer just physical, and no longer just about enticing local footfall, footfall. Those spreading their marketing activity to both on and offline sales and services and honing the tools that allow them to do this will see an improved performance if done well. Learning new skills takes time, but as with most things taking the time to learn takes less time to earn in the future.

Sessions are held online or in person. Once participants have signed up and the team have checked their eligibility for these funded sessions, they will receive a calendar invite with the joining information (online sessions) or venue information (in-person sessions).

If participants are joining in person, whether for the morning or afternoon training or both, lunch will be provided with an opportunity to network. Participants should advise the team on their sign-up form if you will be joining them for lunch and if they have any dietary requirements.

Topic’s include:

  • YouTube for Business
  • SEO & Website Content
  • Make Videos on Your Phone
