The first Fylde Connect networking event, organised by Michael Hymanson, took place last December—and it was a real success! The turnout was great, and the feedback from attendees was fantastic.
Michael has been thinking about how to take Fylde Connect forward. His goal is simple: to make the group enjoyable, interesting, and useful, giving everyone a chance to build connections and create real business opportunities.
But it’s not just about networking—Michael also wants Fylde Connect to give back. Plans are already in the works for a special event to support local charities, and he’s excited to get that off the ground.
The next Fylde Connect meeting will be on Monday 23 February, again at the Glendower Hotel from 10am to 12pm. Michael is hoping for a mix of people from all sorts of businesses and professions, from hospitality to trades to professional services. He’s keen to make sure no single sector dominates—he just wants a great mix of people!
For now, there won’t be any formal membership, however, there is an entry fee and Michael encourages anyone interested to RSVP by email – mikehymanson@hotmail.co.uk
